Does it pass the test?

LITMUS is the new name for Alexsyn.

Dr. Edwin “Ted” Simpson founded Alexsyn in Ida, Arkansas. LITMUS keeps his formulas and tightens the label: each product does one job, lists every ingredient and tells you what it does not do.

The founder

Meet Dr. Edwin Simpson, founder and formulator.

They say doctors make the worst patients, and Ted proves it. He spent years inside medicine watching clinicians choose treatments, and he kept seeing care aimed at one piece of a problem while nobody looked at the rest of the patient.

He also saw the economics. A drug company spends so much developing one drug that it has to sell in huge volume to recover the cost. Other promising candidates stall for reasons unrelated to the science.

The formulas

Every ingredient named, plus what it does not do.

Ted moved home to Arkansas and put his background in biochemistry to work. He opened Alexsyn in the small town of Ida to make supplements that each target one job in the body.

The first is STOMACH: Centella asiatica extract, CM chitosan and vitamins A and C, for daily support of the stomach lining. The label names all four. Two of them share one blend line, and we tell you that up front.

The new name

From Alexsyn to LITMUS.

A litmus test gives you a straight answer. We want each product to pass one, so we put the word on the jar.

Amend GI™ is now STOMACH, with the same four ingredients and a new label. We also changed how we talk about it: we tell you what the product does and what it does not do.

What we will not do

A supplement is not a drug.

STOMACH does not treat, cure or prevent any disease, and it does not replace your doctor or your prescription. If you take medication or manage a medical condition, ask your doctor before you start any supplement, ours included.

We show you the label, explain each ingredient and give you 45 days to decide. If STOMACH is not for you, email info@takelitmus.com for a full refund.

Litmus testnoun

A single question that settles the matter. Ours: does it pass the test?

There can be an arrogance in medicine, like using drugs to treat a small piece of the puzzle like it’s the complete picture, by failing to consider the whole patient.
